Field-wide Support for MTW Japan

The MTW Japan Support Team (a.k.a. "HQ Team") supports our diverse field of 8 MTW teams in practical administrative ways (housing, immigration, legal, and tax support), in supporting Covenant Community Christian School for missionary kids and children of Japanese Christian families, as well as in serving as a type of “greenhouse” to help grow and foster new and developing ministries across our MTW Japan Field such as RUF Japan campus ministries.

Covenant Christian School International (CCSI)

Covenant Community School International (CCSI) is a bilingual, international Christian school operated through our team. CCSI currently has about 50 students, elementary through high school, with both English and Japanese language tracks. CCSI helps support missionaries on the field by providing affordable, gospel-centered Christian education to children of missionaries and other internationals, as well as supporting the growth of the church in Japan through helping to educate and disciple the next generation of church members and leaders.

CCSI exists to glorify God by serving families and students. We seek to help parents teach their children what it means to be a Christian in the world, and to help students develop the mind and talents the Lord has given them. We are an outward-facing community, brought together by God’s abundant grace to us. Find out more about becoming a teacher!

Reformed University Fellowship - RUF Tokyo

RUF Tokyo is a Christian campus ministry that exists to reach students with the hope of Jesus and the truth of the gospel. RUF Tokyo seeks to be a friendly Christ-centered community for the convinced and the unconvinced, the churched and un-churched, the burned, the bored, and the run-down. It is a place to bring your doubts and your questions to understand more about Christianity and to experience the person and work of Jesus Christ.

RUF missionaries are ordained campus ministers and female campus staff who have been called to long-term ministry overseas. RUF Global ministry teams also include recent college graduates who are committed to serving two-year internships. These RUF Global missionaries partner with mission teams from Mission to the World (MTW) and Serge, and with national denominations, to minister to college students on overseas campuses.
